How we do it

By adapting the Scrum methodology –successfully used in the IT world for more than 20 years– to other industries, giving us the framework to build thriving work environments that attract and retain the right people who want to be part of a team with heart and soul –a Well Formed Team– achieving productivity (and more profits) with ease.

We use 5 key concepts from Scrum:

  1. Getting things to-done: We focus on moving the ball forward everyday instead of being frustrated with a long to-do list that never seems to end.
  2. Moving that ball forward in Sprints: Sprints last 1-2 weeks and deliver small improvements while opening opportunities for adjustment.
  3. Welcoming iterations: Because we get better by trial an error.
  4. Building a round-table leadership: Instead of counting on a few managers to find solutions, everyone in the team has a voice.
  5. Focusing on delivering value to the end-user: Because happy customers make a happy staff, and happy staff makes happy stakeholders.


What you can expect

Our work is similar to the journey of a sailboat. We have an origin port –our client’s current work environment– and we know the destination port –a workplace that encourages and maintains Well Formed Teams. Because the sailboat can’t control the weather, the route is going to be uncertain; nevertheless, with the right instruments –the Scrum framework in our case– the sailboat can arrive safely to its destination.

  1. Complimentary consultation: Via zoom or in-person, we’ll have a conversation to hear your challenges and to share some ideas of how we’ll be able to help you. Estimated duration: 1 hour.
  2. Assesment: We’ll observe your staff and client relations, and present a report with 1 to 3 plans of action for you to choose from. Estimated duration: 2 – 4 weeks.
  3. Implementation: It includes our daily guidance, monitoring of progress, and training of the staff. It’ll happen in Sprints of 1-2 weeks. We’ll implement the plan of action you chose using the Scrum framework. Noticeable improvement in the staff and client’s feedback might occur. Estimated duration: 4 – 6 weeks.
  4. Maintenance: Weekly check-ups to sustain the improvements achieved. We’ll be available over the phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person during this period. Estimated duration: 6 – 12 months.

Even though Scrum has been around for more than 20 years allowing the IT Industry to deliver software more effectively, it’s an unknown methodology for most other industries.
